Our access audit service allows you to evaluate how inclusive you currently are, whilst identifying existing barriers through a thorough assessment of all areas of your physical environment.
After a rigorous assessment, we provide a detailed report raising and classifying actionable recommendations for change, in an order of priority and cost.
How we audit
Step one: Client consultation
The first step we take is a brief consultation, whereby we gain an understanding of your business or organisation, as well as develop a thorough understanding of your aims and objectives, potential changes ahead, and how far along your journey of inclusivity you are.
Step two: The on-site audit
Our trained auditors will then visit your premises and conduct a thorough evaluation of all available areas. These will include spaces such as:
- Approach and routes to the building
- Car park and accessible parking
- Entrance and Exits
- Reception areas
- Wayfinding and Signage
- Toilets
- Corridors
- Doors
- Stairs
- Lifts
- Operations and staff awareness

Step three: The report
After the audit, Bascule will deliver a detailed report that will summarise all findings along with recommendations for change or alteration. These will be graded in terms of priority and cost, presented with clarity and accompanied with images to demonstrate issues, along with suggestions for change to ensure inclusive solutions.
